Easy Car Rentals began in 2010 when founder Richard Hartman recognized a gap in the Orlando tourism market. While vacationing with his family, Richard experienced firsthand the frustration of long rental counter lines, hidden fees, and vehicles that didn't match expectations.
Determined to create a better experience, Richard, a former hospitality executive, invested his savings in a small fleet of 15 vehicles. He established the company's first location near Orlando International Airport, focusing on three core principles: transparent pricing, exceptional vehicle quality, and customer-first service.
Within five years, our reputation for reliability and straightforward business practices allowed us to expand to three locations across central Florida with a fleet of over 100 vehicles. By 2018, we introduced our premium vehicle category, catering to business travelers and luxury-seeking tourists.
Today, Easy Car Rentals operates across five strategic locations with a diverse fleet of over 250 meticulously maintained vehicles. We've maintained our founding principles while embracing technology to streamline the rental experience. Our mobile app, launched in 2022, revolutionized the industry with its contactless pickup process and real-time vehicle tracking.
